These are chino shorts made from deadstock material that was supplied to the United States Military Academy at West Point.
The material has an elegant luster and will develop a deeper expression with age.
The shorts feature numerous authentic details such as AMF stitches, a coin pocket, and decorative back stitching, making it a subtly unique piece.
There is some room around the hips, but the silhouette is not too wide, making it suitable to pair with a relaxed fit shirt.
Personally, I've worn shorts like Gramicci and Patagonia's baggy shorts since I was young, but if I were to wear them now, I think these shorts would be just right.
While Gurkha shorts are also nice, for those who don't like the feeling of trying too hard, I think the perfect balance of these shorts is great.
The shorts have a perfect fit for size 48 and hit just above the knee for me.
Although shorts are generally considered a casual item, the use of Real Weapon cloth gives them an elegant touch.
It's recommended to keep the center crease for a polished look. These shorts pair well with loose-fitting tops, such as a hoodie, relaxed fit shirt, or double cotton jacket, creating an elegant silhouette.
