What marks this trouser is a line with a little room through the hips, tapering cleanly toward the foot.

This model uses a cotton West Point twill with a mercerized finish, which gives it a refined sheen and firmness.

A deep texture and a fine standing quality mark it out, sharpening the outline of the pattern and lending the wearer a clean, well-proportioned impression.

Firmness strong enough almost to stand on its own is what emphasizes the silhouette described above.

West Point twill has been used in military and work contexts, but for its depth and its particular, measured sheen and touch, D.C.WHITE treats it strictly as a refined cloth.

That firmness softens with wear, and like jeans or leather shoes the trousers grow into a pair that belongs to their owner alone.

In the sewing, the inseam, the outseam and the seat are open seams, so no stitching shows on the surface.

With the top tucked in, the antique gold back buckle strap appears as a piece of design inside a minimal whole, and gives the outfit depth.

Beauty of make and the texture of the cloth together give it the bearing of a dress trouser, while the choice of material and the pattern let ease live alongside it, at exactly the right point.

The hem is a slightly deep turn-up, at 4 cm.

It marks the line against the shoe naturally and draws the eye downward.

It answers leather shoes and sneakers alike, on duty or off.

A cloth that uses a great deal of cotton and carries real weight, made up as a proper trouser.

Both at once, and planned in a large production lot so that the price stays within reach.
