Boston, the oldest city in America. Red brick landmarks and the air of scholarship make it a place where tradition and invention hold together. As if to embody that spirit, this corduroy suit, the model "BOSTON", carries both classical appeal and modern refinement.



The cloth is the 12-wale corduroy of the celebrated Italian mill "DUCA VISCONTI". Cut by the traditional "handle cut" method, it draws the eye with fine wales, a beautiful finish, and above all an unusual color.



Sewn at a long-established Japanese clothing factory, the suit shows fine tailoring throughout.
Shaping through a three-dimensional pattern, sleeves set forward at the shoulder, and body panels cut to give the fronts their roundness: the care runs down to the smallest part.



Worth noting is the collar, which curves from the shoulder to the neck and stands close against it. That is what lets comfort through the arm and chest sit alongside a refined presence.



The silhouette takes its cue from Japanese American casual of the late 1980s. A little room in the trouser, and a jacket that runs from the rise of the collar into a natural shoulder, drawing an unforced A-line.

"Boston" understands how American trad moved from its source to the present, and carries that into a corduroy suit for now.
