The A-line, opening gently from the hips to the hem, is exactly the slightly-too-big trouser of boyhood.

Worn by an adult, though, that generous line falls into a fine drape and reads as elegant.

Innocent memory balanced against maturity. A contradictory appeal that only comes with age.

The center crease is stitched in.

It survives the wash, so they keep a refined line straight out of the machine.

The back pockets take a rounded flap, which adds refinement inside something casual.

The pockets are generous too, so for all their lightness they hold what you need.
