A coverall in densely woven canvas, washed hard at the garment stage so that the shrinkage brings out the firmness and the dry hand of the cloth.

Puckering appears throughout from that shrinkage, and the face of the jacket deepens the more it is worn.

To keep the arms free, shaped darts are worked inside the elbow and around the shoulder blades so the jacket follows the body.

The pockets, by contrast, are cut on straight lines and hold on to the plainness of workwear. That contrast between shaped and flat is what marks this model.

Fasten the front to the top for a neat line, or close only the middle buttons and it reads like a tailored jacket.

Useful across the seasons, and easy to place in everyday dressing.
