Volume is built through the hips, and a natural taper drawn from below the knee to the hem, which lends the whole a refinement.

Of all D.C.WHITE bottoms, this is the one that most deliberately dresses up.

Everything learned in tailored product is put to use, and the result is, literally, a fine piece of clothing.

The cloth is a wool-poly flannel from SIDGRAS of Barcelona, Spain.

Classic in its face, and light with drape as you would expect of a Spanish mill. Soft in the hand and yet it does not bag at the knee, which makes it the ideal cloth for a trouser meant to hold its timeless taper for years.

Two weaves are offered, a nep tweed solid and a chalk stripe, both drawn with a classic sense of dressing up.

The chalk stripe in particular carries a British mood alongside an American lightness.

It has the bearing of the old slacks you find in a vintage store, while a silhouette that answers every small complaint makes it something you can wear right now.

"Dress Slacks" stands on the extension of Ivy style and carries the refinement of a more mature American classic.
