A suit set planned under the name "First Suits", meant to be the suit to buy first, and the 1 suit that is enough for someone who does not usually wear one.

The basics: a 3-button front that rolls to the middle button, 4 buttons at the cuff, a center vent at the back.

The pattern was adjusted again and again to reach a natural shoulder line that gives refinement to the compact Asian shoulder, and a collar that stands close against the neck.

The lapel is set a little wider than on a conventional suit, which gives the jacket an unhurried air. The trousers are flat front and straight.

A slight taper is built in, so the line below the waist holds up on anyone.

The cloth is a wool and polyester sharkskin from "Marton Mills", the traditional family-run merchant founded in West Yorkshire, England, in 1931.
An ordinary serge runs its twill up to the right; sharkskin runs it up to the left.

The wool is strong and thick in the fibre, so the cloth stands up to years of wear, and at the same time it holds a dimension and a particular fullness that gives the surface depth.
Basic in its details, and marked in the small things by the D.C.WHITE eye. A suit that answers whatever the occasion.
For anyone who wants to wear the real thing for a long time.
*The trousers come unhemmed. Contact us from the message button at the lower left and we will hem them for a fee.
