Cut in a fine wool serge, the cloth from "John Foster", the English mill founded in 1819.

A restrained luster you might take for Italian sits alongside the crispness only two-ply yarn gives; the textile drapes beautifully and lends the wearer a natural bearing.

The shoulder line of the jacket is drawn soft, following the body.

A collar line that clings to the neck, a slightly wider lapel, a gorge set a little low: classic elements taken up, while the whole reads compact and urban.

The pattern making is meant for wearing now, not for nostalgia.

The trousers take 2 reverse pleats.

Relaxed to wear, with a clean line that falls straight to the hem.

They work as a suit, of course, and equally on their own as a good pair of trousers. Even the stitchwork in the details is carefully finished.

2 colors, navy and black.

Both are restrained in tone, and the light and shade the cloth weaves gives each an unforced depth and ease.
