Where "Harbor", the main model this season, stripped away stitching and secondary materials in pursuit of lightness, "Portland" is deliberately structured in its making.

Tailoring technique forms the base, and the presence carries a little weight.

This model, "Portland Glen Plaid", uses a composite cloth of 53% polyester, 43% wool and 4% polyurethane.

Texture from the wool, a slight stretch to carry comfort through the summer: relaxed tailored clothing of real quality.

It keeps its distance from the monotone glen plaids common on the market: a settled color, blue running through it, holding the refinement of a pale navy.

Half-lined with an extended facing, so lightness is secured while the structural beauty of a three-dimensional lapel survives, the minimum viewpoint of proper tailoring.

The sleeve lining is 100% cupro, which gives the sleeve its forward-set three-dimensional shape seen from the side, and an easy slip going on.

A slightly wide lapel, a 3-button front, a left chest pocket, patch pockets at the hip, a center vent.

Classic elements followed through, with a well-proportioned color and pattern adding something considered.

White mother-of-pearl shell buttons reflect the light softly and lend refinement.

A composed, upright summer tailored jacket for a grown-up wardrobe.
