Sports Suits - Jacket

A suit that sets British classic patterns, herringbone and chalk stripe, on a soft American silhouette.

This season's theme is "Classic Sports", and this piece embodies it directly.

First, the fabric.

The cloth comes from SIDOGRAS in Spain.

Spun tweed and flannel are blended with polyester, giving a firm hand and a recovery that helps the jacket hold its shape.

A surface with the depth that suits a sporting tradition, yet easy to wear day to day.

As mentioned, two patterns: chalk stripe and herringbone. The pattern is matched across the seams wherever possible.

The pattern is based on the "Sports Blazer" from Fall/Winter 2023.

Strongly forward-pitched sleeves and a generous chest put ease of movement first. The design carries over a cut free of the usual stiffness of a tailored jacket.

The make balances casual and formal elements.

Machine stitching and patch hip pockets keep it relaxed, while a structured shoulder and full lining keep its presence.

At the front, slightly wide lapels open up a generous V-zone.

Inside, a full canvas runs down to the hem, with no fused interlining on the fronts or facings.

Mitered 4-button cuffs, and a straight welt breast pocket.

Fully lined in cupro.

Now that there are fewer occasions to wear a suit, it is made to enjoy the craft of tailoring without ceremony.

A jacket with a sporting air, its proportions kept well-composed.
