"Summer Blazer Double Breasted", cut from the wool-linen cloth of "Savile Clifford", the long-standing mill out of Huddersfield, England.

Founded in 1899, Savile Clifford holds together the skill built over that long history, the refinement particular to English cloth, and a contemporary eye.

In Huddersfield, blessed with rich country and good water, fine wool and linen are woven in exact proportion into a cloth that is both fresh enough for summer and firm enough to build with.

Here that unusual fabric is carried into a double-breasted blazer by D.C.WHITE tailoring.

A low gorge line, and the restrained peaked lapels that follow from it, set a classic V-zone.

A balanced design that avoids overstatement, and adds depth to grown-up dressing.

From the shoulder up through the neck, the line is a natural shoulder.

The soft curve D.C.WHITE works best in lets comfort and a modern outline sit together.

Nothing is conceded in the details.

The patch pockets, casual by nature, are set further toward the sides than usual, which gives the whole jacket dimension, depth and expression.

Interlining is worked in properly, so the finish reads as structured to the eye as it is in the make.

The front carries D.C.WHITE's own gilt buttons, on a sailing ship motif.

Classic and contemporary, structure and ease. A blazer that holds that balance in one garment.
