マスタードのコットンコーデュロイで仕立てたジャケット"Andy Corduroy"。
畝の凹凸が光を受けて生む濃淡がコーデュロイならではの表情。
パーツはすべて逆毛の一方向で裁断し、深みのある色を全体で揃えています。
製品にしてから一度洗いをかけ、新品の硬さを抜いた柔らかな風合いに。
仕上げのアイロンは上衿とラペルだけ。
身頃と袖は蒸気をあてるのみに留め、洗いの表情を残しました。
上衿の裏にはタブとボタンを備えたチンストラップ。
例えば、狩猟用のジャケット等に見られるクラシカルなディティールです。
本来は衿を立てて首元を留めるためのパーツですが、留められる大きさにするとラペルを開いたときに主張が強くなりすぎてしまいます。
そこであえて小ぶりに仕立て、意匠としての役割に徹しました。
かなりタイトになってしまうため、首元を留めての着用はできない仕様です。
肩と袖付けは割り縫いで仕立て表にステッチを出していません。
芯地は見返しや衿など必要な箇所に留め、前身頃全体には貼らず軽く仕立てました。
袖口は3つボタンの額縁仕立て。
胸には箱ポケット、腰にはフラップ付きのパッチポケット。
裏地は総裏仕立て。
縫製は青森県のクロージング専門工場に依頼しました。
衿元にだけ張りを残し、あとはコーデュロイの柔らかさに委ねた一着。
