10/24(土) ~ 11/1(日) 東京・早稲田｜ISSUE 受注仕立て

"W Face CPO"と同じ素材と製法のまま、パターンをテーラードジャケットに引き直した"W Face Jacket"。

素材は20.5マイクロンのウール糸を用いたメルトン。

とろけるようなドレープと吸い付くような滑らかなタッチを持ちます。

この生地を二枚重ね、職人が手作業で接結糸を通しながらダブルフェイスに仕立てています。

熱や圧力で貼り合わせるボンディングとは異なる手法を選び、素材本来の光沢と柔らかな落ち感を残しました。

耐久性と立体的なシルエットもこの手法で両立しています。

前端と裾は手作業のリバー仕立て。

二枚の生地を内側へ折り込みながら縫い合わせるため、裏表の重みが均一で片側へロールしにくい仕上がりです。

表裏どちらも表の顔を持つ生地なので、見返しも芯地も持たず一枚で仕立てています。

裏地は袖だけ。

肩と脇と背中心の縫い目は手まつりとし、0.6cm幅のハンドステッチを走らせました。

ポケットは胸と腰の3つすべてをパッチに。

ボタンは水牛、袖口はボタンを付けない筒袖です。

縫製を担うのは日本繊維製品品質技術センター(QTEC)の認証を持つ中国のパートナー工場。

カラーはネイビーとベージュ。

芯も裏地も持たない一枚仕立てがメルトンの柔らかな落ち感をそのまま形にするジャケットです。
